About the Role
As a Staff Engineer, you'll be a technical leader who drives the architecture and engineering excellence of our platform. You'll work on our most complex challenges, mentor the engineering team, and help define our technical strategy.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and implementation of complex, cross-team technical initiatives
- Define and drive engineering best practices across the organization
- Mentor senior engineers and help grow the technical capabilities of the team
- Partner with product leadership to translate business requirements into technical strategy
- Identify and address technical debt and scalability challenges
- Contribute to hiring and help build a world-class engineering team
- Drive architectural decisions that affect the entire platform
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in senior/staff roles
- Deep expertise in distributed systems and scalable architecture
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js
- Experience leading technical projects across multiple teams
- Proven track record of mentoring and developing engineers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in high-growth startup environments
Nice to Have
- Experience building communication or SaaS platforms
- Background in data engineering or analytics systems
- Experience with event-driven architectures
- Public speaking or technical writing experience
